Is the request for the script/style tags to be automatically injected into the html page? Wouldn't this require some sort of build step?

At the moment when typing "bower install" bower includes the source and the minified js and css.
Removing the sources files from the "main" tag in bower file should solve this issue

It seems like most of the more popular bower libraries (bootstrap, moment, &c.) actually do the opposite and include the unminified version and not the minified one.
