I know this is somewhat similar to #155 , but I reviewed it and did not find a solution for my issue.

Duplicate of #415.
This is because v2.9.2 is incompatible with the Steam Client Beta's new appinfo.vdf format. The dependency to parse this needed updated. This is fixed in v2.10.0 which is not yet available as a Flatpak. It is available from the AppImage, however, and I confirmed that the v2.10.0 AppImage (tagged as v2.10.2) does indeed work.
