I’ve played a bit more with the API and I found out the character count increments in steps of 50k. That’s why I couldn’t see the counter increment. Is there a way to have it increment every time a document is translated?

Hi @jaixan, I'm assuming you call translate_document() or translate_document_with_filepath(). These functions return a DocumentStatus, you can check the billed_characters property to see how many characters were billed for that document.
Unfortunately the character count returned by get_usage() can be delayed due to technical reasons.
