ok, at the moment the logger level is set to WARN somewhere and no INFOs get displayed from that bit of code. then, there's a bug preventing any progress output. but let's assume for a second that is fixed...

so, because of the buggy state, i'm not sure i get what you mean. is it this: in addition to output for the immediate subfolders of basedir, there should also be feedback for the level below that? so i'd get:

adding ABBA
adding ABBA/Abbatastic
adding ABBA/Bitte_Mit_Sahne
adding Absolute_Beginner
adding Absolute_Beginner/Musik_durch_die_Nase_rZr_2002
...

I wouldn't exclude the first level, in case that's where all the albums are, or worse: only 5000 naked files right in the basedir.
