I edited the readme also.
Maybe I will make a future release on npm with some breaking changes (be sure to keep the actual version 1.0.3).
I don't like how the library is working actually, but it's working (you can test it with the project I just added in the repo)

Warning: with angular 6 the packaging is no more valid.
For now just use the content of index.ts in your code and it will work
