Hi @okor - welcome to Ember :)
This appears to be just one of several issues that need to be resolved in ember-animated-outlet to make it compatible with Ember 1.0. Check out billysbilling/ember-animated-outlet#23 for more details. It sounds like another PR is forthcoming to rename the LinkToAnimated helper to link-to-animated.
I'm going to close this because it's better to solve these kinds of issues in the libraries themselves, rather than to try to force compatibility in the template compiler (and probably not succeed).

Thanks for looking into it.
It also sounds like there is a strong possibility Ember core will be adding support for animated transitions in 1.1+. Discussion: http://discuss.emberjs.com/t/animation-support-in-ember-1-1/1977/39
