btrbk is very strict when it comes to input validation (for security reasons). However, the '@' character should not impose any problems here.
Changed file match from /[0-9a-zA-Z_\-\.\/]+/ to /[0-9a-zA-Z_@\-\.\/]+/ in commit: e392635, this should satisfy all ubutu people out there (except for people using other weird characters for their subvolume naming)

Fixed in btrbk v0.13
Created new release as this bug was a blocker for the ubuntu community.
