Hello, i had the same issue.

I want to add, that also hot reloading results in 404 if you are inside a subdir/route.

Adding index_on_404 = true to [web.watcher] in Dioxus.toml and restarting the server solved it.
This should really be in the default config (dioxus-template), imho. Any reason why it isn't yet?
