Thanks for the report, any way to reproduce this? I take it ACE was also loaded and you interacted a lot during the game session.

Issue might be due to setting the background color to 0 for compass and bearing, but only setting both back once a setting is changed.

Fix would involve using _ctrl ctrlShow false instead of background opacity changes. Then showing the whole control again once all conditions are met, like in this section of the code
