Seems that a color solution is a no go as it subtracts too much from the fireteams. An icon solution might work better.
Other than that, increased distance for buddy action and text should change

Current implementation is to show a person icon next to the name and the same person icon on the compass.
Current testing shows, that the name list usage is pretty good, but the compass icon is misleading/looks/feels weird.
A new icon is needed for the compass, person icon + virtual entity icon seems good.

Going with a person in circle icon for v1.
Need to add a functionality to remove a buddy as well.
Add an option for the buddy color to show up.
