No "Ethernet" option on Internet Sharing about throttle HOT 3 CLOSED

Hrm... Throttle probably won't work for you then. I hadn't really considered MacBook Airs. What kind of speeds do you get out of the USB modem?

damn.. that's too bad. so basically it wont work for laptops on wifi, right?

well, my modem speed is varied wildly. on a bad day, it's even slower than 3G. but if i'm downloading something big and it opens a constant connection to a server, it could get up to 2 or 3 Mbps. why?

Yeah, if you can only connect your laptop to a network via WiFi Throttle won't work for you. Our set-up is a standalone machine wired to the wall that we can all connect to.

I was wondering if the modem connection was fast enough to share its connection instead of ethernet and get good results with Throttle. Doesn't sound like it.
