Hey, try this:
docker run -dp 3000:3000 -w /app -v "/$(pwd):/app" node:12-alpine sh -c "cd /$(pwd) && yarn install && yarn run dev"

I am not sure Windows knows about he pwd command. I used %cd% instead. (Windows 10 Home.)

I tried both solutions with %cd% but that didn't fix the issue for me.
I have git bash, I think that's the reason it tries to search from that location.
Edit: fixed the command

Hi all! Apologies for the delay in responding to this issue. The tutorial has gone through several improvements since this issue was created, some of which I anticipate would have resolved this issue. Therefore, I'm going to go ahead and close it.
