So that's super interesting.

Looking at the call stack, it looks like the window animation is firing; the first crash was after a disconnect, the second just looks like a normal resize. Once the window resizes, it tries to save its state into the preferences file, and that's when the crash happens.

Curious.

And I was just completely able to recreate it on my side. Almost the exact same trace for the crashed thread.

I probably won't have time to look at it, but if there's an enterprising user out there, this probably wouldn't take much to trace down...

Adding on here that I'm getting frequent Cord crashes (3-4 per day) since upgrading to El Capitan. Any chance there is a fix coming soon?

Same issue.

If I move the application window around, crashes. When I close, also comes up as having crashed.

Is there any movement on this bug? I get the same crash anytime I move the window in OS X 10.11.1

This problem appears to have been fixed with El Capitan 10.11.4 and CORD Version 0.5.7 (5701). It's no longer crashing for me.

lutnos avatar lutnos commented on July 17, 2024

Thanks @colinsutton , but unfortunately it is still crashing for me. I'm also using El Capitan 10.11.4 and CORD Version 0.5.7 (5701). There are times when I do not see crashes and believe things may have changed, but sooner or later crashes return and I se that I have to take a longer view. Good luck to you though
