Disregard. I just learnt that the Update a subscriber method is also used to add new subscribers.

I'm stuck on this - getting a 500 error from drip.
I'm sending:
drip.createUpdateSubscriber({
email: <subscriber email>,
custom_fields: {
first_name: <subscriber first name>,
last_name: <subscriber last name>,
},
status: 'active',
tags: ['<some tags>', '<i need>', '<to apply>']
})
.then(...
from drip-nodejs.
