Thanks for your question!
We use lambda D = 0.1 for most of the scenes. From my experience, you'll need to rely more on depth information (higher lambda) if you have very few input views. But if you already have 'enough' input views, you may not want to set lambda too high.

May I ask how you set such depth parameter with RGBD scenario? I saw yoiur demo from your website. I think compared with COLMAP, they are much denser. So I assume in such scenario you will also set it to a much lower value?
