Could you post your code for the preUpdate event please ?
I am working on it since 2 days but postUpdate don't work for me.
Only postPersist or prePersist..

Yeah, I would prefer if it was built-in as well. @comensee I just do this in the meantime. It's what @postRemove triggers when you set delete_on_remove: true
$this->fileSystem->remove($entity); // you can inject 'vich_uploader.storage.file_system'from vichuploaderbundle.
