For images previously loaded, everything works fine now again. Although it required playing around with the uri_prefix.
When doing this kind of changes to the way the bundle works, it would be nice to have an "update" section in the docs to explain how to start using the new version.

There is an upgrade file for this https://github.com/dustin10/VichUploaderBundle/blob/master/UPGRADE.md
if something is missing feel free to send a PR o to notify it opening an issue.
Check your config following upgrade information and then let me know if you're still in trouble

Cool, I made a small PR to link that file from the readme cause I completely missed it, so others might as well.
