fyi. gcc has a compile farm with Ubuntu/Debian/*BSDs and multiple archs which may be relevant here.

We have over 500 servers, soon over a 1000. No need to steal time on someone else's compile farm.
If we really want to do this, but it's low priority for now, we can just set up a bunch of VMs.

Couple of notes on this: VMs are an issue, because an ATLAS build tends to fail in them, and ATLAS is an important library in the goalf toolchain we dommonly use.
To check whether we catch all dependencies, we could use the jail tool that the HashDist guys have planned.
