@xkr47 Well, it's my preference in most (but not all) cases. For example, I wouldn't want to write Boolean.true and Boolean.false all the time.

The problem is that I don't want to explain all the pretty complicated stuff about constructors early in the tour, but I do want to explain enumerated types and object declarations, so that's why the material is presented in this order.

Now, some people here—@FroMage, certainly, and I'm not sure who else—are in favor of introducing a "shortcut" enum (enumerated?) declaration (or annotation?). I've never been against that idea, though I'm also not convinced it really carries its weight.

Is the new enum style nowadays the ceylon convention? Should this be reflected in 1.3/tour/types.md#enumerated-instances ?
