You should not run build.bat on your computer. This script is executed inside of the container.
Make sure your system fulfills the prerequisites as stated in the README.md file:
- OS: Windows 10 (Version 2004 or newer)
You need Windows 10/11 Professional or Enterprise, it doesn't work with Windows 10/11 Home unfortunately - Docker Desktop
Use Windows containers: Right click on the Docker tray icon -> Switch to Windows containers...
To be able to see the errors, open CMD and navigate to the folder where you have downloaded the files to:
cd path/to/aseprite-windows-docker-build- Then run
start.batin that CMD window by typing.\start.bat
