Should we maybe reach out to some emacs users and see if there is any interest in doing this one?

@sindresorhus yes. I don't know of anyone who has ever used the emacs plugin but me.
I had hoped that many of the plugins for editors I rarely use would eventually be adopted by other users who are better suited to test them.
