recipe for target 'static-tcpdump' failed about ksniff HOT 4 CLOSED

It seems your machine is missing the libpcap-dev package which is required for tcpdump compilation.
you should first install it with something like "apt-get install libpcap-dev" and retry.

BTW - I'm aware that this part of the installation is a bit complicated and keep thinking about methods to improve it, if i'll ship a precompiled static tcpdump binary with the installation, will you feel comfortable using it?

As someone working from an osx machine it seems like you should build these dependencies in a docker container if they are missing.

I'm thinking a lot about making ksniff installation and usage more simple.

I think I will ship a pre-compiled static tcpdump alongside the project, providing such container will be a great helper for those preferring to compile the binary on their own.
