Thanks for the report. Unfortunately without pg_type Postgrex isn't able to handle types properly.

I would suggest trying out the Clickhouse Elixir driver here: https://github.com/clickhouse-elixir/clickhousex.

Another option might be to try using the simple connection: https://hexdocs.pm/postgrex/Postgrex.SimpleConnection.html

It uses the simple query protocol instead of the extended query protocol and doesn't care about OIDs.

edit: this might actually be your only choice. if this issue is correct then clickhouse doesn't support the extended protocol: ClickHouse/ClickHouse#18611
