Am about to submit the most inconsequential of PRs to "test the waters". Will look at / tackle issues once I've got my (reworked from SDL2 Canvas to GL friendly) app working with it.

The best way to contribute is to first find or create an issue. There we can discuss approaches before starting work on a PR.
Note that Egui is currently in rapid development, so expect each new release to have breaking changes in them (hopefully mentioned in the changelog). If that sounds scary you may wanna hold off for a bit :)
