I see. I guess that is the limitation of Django template engine but not this app's. Your solution makes sense apart from gettext_lazy(trans_title), this way manage.py makemessages won't mark Delete as translatable, so it won't be added to translation list. Thanks for your help anyways.

Hi! There is currently no way to send in complex parameters like you suggest. Instead you should send all the parameters you need to your component, and do all lookups in the component context method.

{% component 'permission_button' ... 'locations:delete_address' object.id 'Delete' %}

class PermissionButton:
    def context(self, ..., delete_url_name, object_id, trans_title):
        url = resolve(delete_url_name, object_id)
        title = gettext_lazy(trans_title)
        ...
