Cannot find gs-mvt-2.6.2.jar about gs-mvt HOT 4 CLOSED

The Jar File gs-mvt-2.6.2.jar is the result of the maven build process of the package. Currently there is no built version of gs-mvt-2.6.2.jarin the repository. You have to check out the project and run e.g. maven:package. The result should be a target folder in the project where the gs-mvt-2.6.2.jar can be found.

Hello after trying to generate a package, I had the following error:

[ERROR] [ERROR] Some problems were encountered while processing the POMs:
[FATAL] Non-resolvable parent POM for org.geoserver.extension:gs-mvt:2.6.2: Failure to find org.geoserver:extension:pom:2.6.2 in https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2 was cached in the local repository, resolution will not be reattempted until the update interval of central has elapsed or updates are forced and 'parent.relativePath' points at wrong local POM @ line 13, column 13

Unfortunately the Geoserver is not part of the central maven repository anymore, because it moved to GitGub. But the boundless maven repository provides the source of current versions of the geoserver. You can include the repository in your global maven file or add it to the gs-mvt.pom.
Alternatively it is possible to download the geoserver source from GitHub, build it and deploy it in your local maven repository.
