у меня проблема с тегами не воспроизводится.
block('b1').tag()(); // не делает ничего, отрабатывают базовые шаблоны == div
block('b1').tag()('bla'); // работает как ожидается, выставляется тег blafrom enb-bemxjst.

Я сижу на 1.2, но в планах перейти на bh, поэтому не актуально, наверное 😃
