Sorry I know it's not ideal to require users to currently decompartmentalize their powers into multiple pieces. This is something that I would like to include but it's not currently very high up on my internal TODO list as of this moment in time.

It might be possible as a stop gap that I could make a script within the Macro tab of a power to make better use of augments. This does require some code knowledge on the users side, but if I'm able to wip something up I'll include it in as an example as part of the example powers, and character compendiums I'm currently trying to release. Again though this is lower priority, and I might release this theatrical example some time after I have released other examples.

So a suggestion that may make bits easier, and also solves an issue one of my players reported.

They have some powers with complex effects that do not format very well with the existing effect text as its a plain text box. Either making the effect box a HTML input like the description, or (since description is probably not going to be used that much for powers, especially as the single line "chat message" field sorts a powers emote text), having a check box that inserts the description after the effect line.

You still have access to dice and modifiers using the [[ ]] syntax, so powers that have numbers should be fine. you lose some automation effects but you'll at least be able to write out the full power description and effects and the main maths that you can then apply to your action. (and from my memory of full discipline a lot of the 2ndary powers are not attack anyway, though its been a while since i went there)

I have been playing around with how attacks display in the chat log (I promise, @EndlesNights, my multi-tab attack dialog box is nearly done. Probably this weekend!), and have thought before about having a longer description display after effects for powers. My modifications and pull requests are slow though and you seem to be knocking them out of the park @draconas1. I am happy to look into it after my current project, but that might mean it gets done in a month, 6 months, or never...

Having a description field that prints after effects and has a larger box for typing would certainly solve the augmentation problem, at the cost of requiring players to be ok with [[ ]] notation. I know at least one player in our group has maximum aversion to any sort of "coding". On roll20, she will go out of her way to click the dice she wants to roll, rather than /r 1d20, for example. And text fields which "do things" on a character sheet are scary, though powerful.

I can see, in future, an "augmentation" option for Psion powers would be extremely easy to implement. It either modifies the targets, adds a new effect, or modifies the number of dice being rolled by a multiple of power points spent, for nearly every power. Monks though... their stuff gets weird. And with this in such infancy, and 4e being so niche, a text box, and trusting the technical abilities of our players, might be the best long term solution.
