i used this gem instead: https://github.com/francesc/rails-translate-routes

That gem didn't work for me in Rails 4. Does it work for you?

truth to be told, i dont remember, and i dont have access to this project i've been working on back then. i know i had some serious problems with those translations, and one of those gems out there nailed it, but i cant tell you which one.

Ok, thanks for reply. The solution I found is quite simple. Just specify in some initializer which locales are available.
Example for English an Czech locales:
I18n.available_locales = [:en, :cs]from route_translator.
