Fixed this by deprecating the use of Abort()
outside of rewrite rules. Instead, users should use throw RewriteAbort()
.
This is because Abort
is part of the rewrite rule DSL, but having it also work outside would be surprising. It's better that users see actual exception throwing code when not working directly inside a rewrite rule.
