As far as I can see, the RFC of PKCS8 should allow EC private key to be encoded in the pkcs8 format. But this library does not support it at the moment. It only supports RSA keys to be encoded in PKCS8.
Therefore I can provide you some solutions :
- Use a RSA key, if possible.
- Use an example key from you or generate one with openssl, check the asn1 structure at https://lapo.it/asn1js/ and try to recreate the structure in dart. You can take a look at the rsa example in CryptoUtils class. You can then open a PR :)
- Wait until I have some time to add the functionality!
I keep this issue open to close it once the feature is added.
