As part of this issue to port some of the ouinet-specific features of Ceno to a generalized library, I am planning on adding a lot of new kotlin code to the android portion of the ouinet repo. Since I started writing this code in a gradle 7 environment (i.e. Ceno and the ouinet-example code), backporting the code to gradle 6 seems silly. This means upgrading to gradle 7 is more of an immediate need.
I'm going to work on this upgrade in this branch, https://github.com/equalitie/ouinet/tree/android-gradle-wrapper, since switching to using the gradle-wrapper will make future upgrades of gradle far simpler. Eventually, we will probably want to move away from the shell script currently used for building the ouinet AAR and instead only use gradle commands combined environment variables.
