build fails on 32 bit systems about resdata HOT 5 CLOSED

maybe issues like this can be somehow caught on 64 bit systems via a unit test. I've got no idea how, though.

On a x86-64 system you can e.g. use an x86-32 version of ubuntu 16.04 in a virtual machine.
