Explain how to protect access? about phpredisadmin HOT 5 CLOSED

try to use config file, find "Uncomment to enable HTTP authentication", for example:

where login: admin, password: adminpassword

I have changed the lines to something like:

Hi, if this doesn't work there is probably something in you apache setup preventing this from working.

The best thing you can do is set up authentication using apache: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/howto/auth.html

Thx for your remark.
It was of course the classical (but that I had forgotten) "AllowOverRide None" in Apache2 conf.
Once changed, it allowed all local .htaccess to control as expected.
So _no problem with your program_ itself!
