Really good suggestion thanks.
We don't have those in the roadmap yet.
Zoom level per-feature is something we really want to do soon.
Not so sure changing visible layers per-feature will happen soon.
From now a simple way for you to workaround is to use the developer events, see the documentation.
The idea is that after a user point navigation, after the app has refreshed all it's UI components, you could perform map action like changing zoom level or layers visibility (access the map object through app.map). The map refresh would be visible but at least you can do it now.
