While it is okay to omit the details of the interaction. A suitable note above stating that the there is a date parser but it's excluded as it does not have a key role in the overall UML diagram would be good.

This would be for the next team that takes over your project, as they might deem dateparser not important and delete it to reduce redundancies. Hence a brief mention or even just placing the class diagram would tell the next reader that the logic for date is handled there and is still useful in the code.
