Can you provide more information? It seems to be working fine for me in my Ubuntu VM:
$ sudo npm install -g esbuild-linux-64
/usr/local/bin/esbuild -> /usr/local/lib/node_modules/esbuild-linux-64/bin/esbuild
/usr/local/lib
└── [email protected]
$ which esbuild
/usr/local/bin/esbuild
$ esbuild
Usage:
esbuild [options] [entry points]
...

@evanw Nevermind, I looked for issues before looking at the install section. 🤦♂️ I could install it just like you did in the post above. Works for me on Ubuntu 19.10 👍
