Yes they are however all of the matrix libraries I have used are row-major. This is normally done for readability reasons, since the elements placed in a single 16-element array can be indented to match how they are written mathematically. I've added this fact to the documentation. Sorry for the confusion.

No, that is fine. What I am confused about is that it seems that these matrices are being submitted to OpenGL in row major order. That is, I don't see any transposition happening beforehand.

The calls to gl.uniformMatrix() in shader.js transpose the matrix before passing it to OpenGL. Where do you see the transpose missing?
