If you are talking about Ever Platform (https://github.com/ever-co/ever), it's much more work required to make it work well with CockroachDB because we do not actually use only TypeORM (in fact, we almost not use it at the moment), but also our customer mapper (called Pyro) which sits on top of mongoose and by default work with MongoDB.
