We have to problems here:

• running ip route list within a container doesn't make much sense
• there is, as is, not way to use exoip from a container

Solution:

• ip route list is used to fetch the Instance ID, and nothing else. By adding a new flag to the cli we could work around those issues.

The ip route list worked from within a static pod, then it provided the correct instance-id.
