isDate() returns false on "2021-02-12" for express-validator v7 about express-validator HOT 5 CLOSED

isDate is bridged directly from the underlying validator library we use.

@ningji i cannot repro this issue, this is what I tried

const { check } = require('express-validator')

const app = express()

app.post('/patch1', [check('date').optional({ checkFalsy: true }).isDate()], async (req, res) => {
  res.sendStatus(200)
})

app.listen(3000, () => {
  console.info("Listening on port 3000")
})

I used the latest express and express-validator versions and the following curl command

curl --location 'http://localhost:3000/patch1' \
--header 'Content-Type: application/json' \
--data '{
    "date": "2021-02-12"
}'

from express-validator.

@fedeci Very interesting, did you use yarn install or npm install ? i kind of suspect this is a package issue now
