I'll be there :)
from discussions.
Here are my notes, such as they are:
Re CloudFlare for caching on expressjs.com.
- Decision to l eave CF setup "as is" for now. Re-evaluate if GH ever offers SSL access or if there is an issue.
Re #27
- James Snell explained that Node core team is trying to decide if HTTP/2 really belongs in core or s/be sep. James has a POC; will have specific proposal in a month or so.
- James anticipates that it would get into core in Node v.8 time-frame.
- Consensus was that we don't care if it's in Node core or sep. module.
In any case, we would have to make some changes; wouldn't work OOTB. Will keep an eye on progress.
Re #25 (keep the object prototype in req.body and similar fields?)
- See the video. Apparently I didn't take notes during this part of the discussion :-(
Re #30
- Move node-multiparty into pillarjs org (owner offered). Linus notes that we also have multer middleware. Doug says its similar to send module.
- Very stable module; this would give us control over any future changes.
- Consensus was to accept the module (see +1 votes on isssue).
Re moving examples into separate repo per expressjs/express#2923
- Consensus is that it probably makes sense to move examples into separate repo.
- Most important caveat is that we ensure test coverage stays at 100%
- Will be some work to move rework tests, but not a lot.
I had to leave a bit early, so I missed final discussions. See the video.

@dougwilson Do you know if you'll be able to make this meeting?
from discussions.
@mikeal ... it may be worthwhile for you to join this call because of the CloudFlare discussion.
from discussions.
I'll be there for the HTTP/2 discussion! :-) Also, definitely let @mikeal and I know if there's anything needed from a Foundation point of view.

Are we starting? It seems like I'm on the only one connected?
You are the first one here.

I'm getting an error when trying to load.. and seeing the message "No one is here right now."
from discussions.
Me too. Maybe @dougwilson has to start it?
from discussions.
I am getting the same message. I assume whoever created that hangout on air needs to start it.

@dougwilson Are you going to rejoin and try to fix your audio issue?
from discussions.
I have no idea why my mic doesn't work on this chromebook, but it's all I have for a computer at home right now. I created a hangout on air for you guys to join so at least we can record something while I figure it out:
