The issue is that your global parser doesn't just limit the body, but actually parses it already. So then any later parsers are just skipped because there is no body to parse any longer -- it was already parsed.

In your simple example, it would behave as intended if you moves the app.use bodyParser just below the app.use router, however.

Oh, I see you already noted that, my apologies. Anyway, I'm not sure if this can be fixed. You are welcome to propose some kind of way it could be implemented, however, assuming it is possible.
