is there a way to pass a set of variables into the config file? about f5-bigip-runtime-init HOT 2 CLOSED

Hi @mwardbopp, have you tried referencing the parameter output using dot notation, e.g.:

Then in your services:

My_License:
  bigIqHost: '{{{MY_CONFIG.BIGIQ_HOST}}}'

  licensePool: '{{{MY_CONFIG.BIGIQ_LIC_POOL}}}'
  licenseType: licensePool

  unitOfMeasure: hourly

If this doesn't work it probably means we just need to convert whatever is returned by the URL param to an object during rendering.

Magic stuff, that's what I was missing! It would be great to get that documented so others don't run into the same issue, it might seem obvious to some/most but depending on your familiarity etc.
