I think the contribution guide is good the way it is. Since it is a different topic than the Readme file and has its own contribution file (is marked as CONTRIBUTION.md).

We don't typically include branding logos or reproduce website docs in Meta OSS project READMEs. Fork and clone is also built into the GitHub UI. And the steps to do that are included in the CONTRIBUTING file too.
