Please send me a list of files in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Helios Display Management
or C:\Program Files\Helios Display Management
directory and mention your operating system CPU architect. (x64, x86)
I can't reproduce the problem, but as soon as I do, I will release a patch for the installer so you could uninstall it afterward.
For now, you can also use the 'Revo Uninstaller Pro' program to uninstall it. The trial version should be enough in this case.

Also, if you don't mind, please give me your feedback about your experience with the program.

My PC is Win10 x64, and installed the x64 version. The file list:

I suppose this project is not complete yet, because I cannot change any settings. All options are just grey..

Yes, the project is still in pre-release. As you can see in the edit page. For now, you need to capture profiles before being able to switch to them and you can't create or edit a profile topology directly in the program.

Should be fixed with the latest release.

I'm getting a similar error around shell extensions while installing v0.9.3:

Please try this version:

I was able to successfully install v0.9.3.4. (As mentioned in release notes, starting from v0.9.1, I had to run the installer, reboot, run the installer, and reboot again in order to successfully upgrade to v0.9.3.4).
After upgrading to v0.9.3.4, I tried running the uninstaller from Control Panel -> Programs and Features. The uninstaller now seems to execute without error. However, afterwards the Program Files/Helios Display Management
folder seems untouched. The start menu and desktop shortcuts are unchanged as well.

Yeah, this happens because Windows Installer thinks another application also uses those files. This is because the structure of the installation file changed drastically from the original version.
I managed to solve this by marking all component unsharable and deleting any reference to those files from the registry before starting the installation process. This is now a part of the new release. You can try it here:

Install and then uninstall should delete any files related to this product. Upgrading might not be enough tho; so you might end up installing and uninstalling it two times if there is an older version of this application installed on your system prior to upgrading to this new version.
Thanks for reporting this behavior.

After upgrading to v0.9.4.4, uninstall works correctly. It deletes the Program Files/Helios Display Management
directory as well as desktop/start menu shortcuts. Thanks a lot!

Good to know. I am going to close this issue as it seems resolved.
For anybody using any version prior to 0.9.4.4, please first update to 0.9.4.4 before using any newer version.
