ES5 Array is not a complete implementation about fantasy-land HOT 5 CLOSED

It looks easy enough to polyfill.

Array.of = function(/* arguments */) {
  return Array.prototype.slice.call(arguments);
};

I wouldn't recommend that specific polyfill. In ES6 it's speced to be |this| sensitive and generic. It's more like:

Array.of = function of(){
  var Ctor = typeof this === 'function' ? this : Array;
  var out = new Ctor();
  for (var i=0; i < arguments.length; i++) {
    out[i] = arguments[i];
  }
  return out;
};

But yeah I was just commenting on the fact that the stock ES5 Array is not a complete implementation.

ES6 has a a partial implementation of Monad.

ES5 has a complete implementation of Functor.

When Foldable is defined, ES5 hopefully has a complete implementation.

@Raynos: Foldable is implemented by providing a foldr, or in JavaScript terms, reduceRight.
