Yes.
And some seams have gathers, pleats, tucks or darts on one side but not the other.
We'd have to check for these too.

When you say seams you mean spl1+spl2 (first seam) == spl3+spl4 (second seam)?

In some cases useful have tests that will check conjugation of seams. Test will stored in the middle of pattern file. Include two fields for formulas, sign of comparison (>=, =, <=). A user will manually run test. Result of running tests will be displayed in a pure text format. In read-only mode.
