Thank you for the report, there was a typo in the setting, I fixed it in #91. The update will be released soon.
I think The "sharpness" depends on the ratio between the spacing applied to the indicators and the size of the display. For instance, on my laptop (3000x2000 display) the spacing is a little bit off compared to my desktop (1920x1080).
I am working on custom spacing in settings, I hope this will fix centering and sharpness issues.
