Since it's not really a bug, I'll close this one here, but feel free to join the discussion over there in case you still have problems after going through that topic.

One more tip: if you're just starting developing for Garmin, IMHO the best way to start is with their own samples inside the SDK, which are very simple and kind of self-explanatory (i.e. Analog Watch Sample), so you'll know what are the basic requirements (like the manifest). Then, once you start understanding how all that works, it's when it would be beneficial to get ideas from other more developed open-source faces. Starting from a code with thousands and thousands of lines can be a bit overwhelming in the beginning ;)
